International Assembly Caspian Dialogue
The International Assembly "Caspian Dialogue".

The public organization Council "Science and Innovations of the Caspian Sea", which has been operating in the Caspian region since 2009, on whose initiative the Association "Science and Innovations of the Caspian Sea" was registered in Russia in April 2021, has been the organizer of the International Economic Forum "Caspian Dialogue" for 10 years.
The forum was held in Moscow with the support and participation of: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia, Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Russia and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
After the signing of the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea, in connection with the establishment of the Caspian Economic Forum by the Heads of State of the "Caspian Five", the Presidium of the Caspian Science and Innovation Council decided to change the format of the Caspian Dialogue Forum and hold, starting from 2022, the annual International Assembly "Caspian Dialogue" (hereinafter-the Assembly).
The main organizer and operator of this international project is the Association "Science and Innovations of the Caspian Sea" (hereinafter-ASIC).
Partners in the preparation and holding of the Assembly will be: RAS, the Russian Committee "Man and the Biosphere" of UNESCO, the Council "Science and Innovation of the Caspian Sea", IPEE RAS.
The organizer considers the International Assembly "Caspian Dialogue" as one of the most effective forms of public socio-scientific diplomacy.
The upcoming Assembly will open (May 11, 2022, Moscow) with a Plenary session "The Caspian Dialogue-Development in new conditions", at which it is planned to discuss:
* Features of the development of the Caspian dialogue after the signing of the Convention on the Legal Status of the Caspian Sea;
* International and interregional organizations in the Caspian region;
* Vectors of conjugation of the positions of the countries of the Caspian region;
* International cooperation in the field of joint research, monitoring of natural, man-made and geological risks, promotion of innovative technologies in the Caspian region;
* New formats of the Caspian dialogue and interstate cooperation;
Mikhail Petrakov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Delimitation and Demarcation of the State Border of the Russian Federation with neighboring CIS member States, will be invited to the Plenary session as a key speaker.
Representatives of the following organizations will be invited to speak:
The Russian Council of International Activity, the Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the International Institute of Khazar Studies, the MIEP MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Astana International Scientific Complex, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, the Institute of the Caspian Sea of Turkmenistan, ASU.
Representatives of the faculty of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku State University, Abylai Khan Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages, Atyrau State University, Tehran University, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Institute of the Caspian Sea of Turkmenistan are invited to participate in the discussion within the framework of the plenary session.
